Literaly. A bug sitting on top of the focusing screen.
Tried compressed air........no go. Can the screen be removed easily?

You have to live with these bugs, it would frighten you if you knew what lives on you :smile:

Had them in a Pentax a few years ago, never made any differance to the images

Kind of cool really.Like having my own private looking glass zoo.

PS:I've seen enhanced immages of the critters that inhabit the human host.Think I'll keep them in my Canon.Safer there.

I have the answer to your problem Mike, these mites live in the lubricants of your camera ,they can't survive sub-zero temperatures the way we used to zap them was to take the lens off the body, remove the film and battery , wrap the body in cling film, put it in a freezer bag, and leave it in your freezer overnight.

The following morning allow it to come to room temperature, replace the battery film and lens. I know this sounds weird but in my experience it works
