Literaly. A bug sitting on top of the focusing screen.
Tried compressed air........no go. Can the screen be removed easily?

Thanks

The original AE-1 or the AE-1 Program?

You have to live with these bugs, it would frighten you if you knew what lives on you

Had them in a Pentax a few years ago, never made any differance to the images

Kind of cool really.Like having my own private looking glass zoo.

PS:I've seen enhanced immages of the critters that inhabit the human host.Think I'll keep them in my Canon.Safer there.

I have the answer to your problem Mike, these mites live in the lubricants of your camera ,they can't survive sub-zero temperatures the way we used to zap them was to take the lens off the body, remove the film and battery , wrap the body in cling film, put it in a freezer bag, and leave it in your freezer overnight.

The following morning allow it to come to room temperature, replace the battery film and lens. I know this sounds weird but in my experience it works
