Brownie 2A Model C – correct prong position

I have a Brownie 2A Model C that I am hoping to shoot with 120 using spacer adapters purchased from CamerHack. The issue I have with loading is that I do not know if the metal prongs on the inner box are positioned correctly to keep two spools in place and tensioned. I have not found any photos or diagrams to indicate how they should look unloaded or with film in place.

Does anyone have images they can share or a reference I can review?

The piece with the key slot goes on the takeup spool and mates with the takeup key of the film advance. The film should be kept as tight as the original format provided the tensioning springs in the camera are good.

What I don't have is a reference of how those springs should be positioned and how they look loaded – I haven't seen photos anywhere.

I found a instruction manual for the Brownie 2A at http://www.brownie-camera.com/56.shtml which says the 2A takes 116 film , is this the camera you have?
Tensioning spring(s) will be under the roll alignment pin(s) that hold the supply spool. Usual construction is to put a spring under one pin only allowing enough clearance for insertion of the spool and holding the spool snugly when installed yet allowing it to turn but not freely enough so that it will unwind on its own. The takeup will have a fixed pin and the wind key that will pull out enough to allow a spool to be inserted or removed.

That's the one. I should post pictures later today to show the inside of mine – I'm wondering if something is missing.

Here's some shots of the inside of my 2A model C. The first is the top where the film loads; the second is bottom where the takeup spool goes. Is anything missing here?

The springs in your first picture appear to be bent. They should look like the second picture. Their purpose is to hold the film roll in the slot.
I've only handled one Brownie, that was in 1977 and I do not know which model it was other than it used 120 film.
