Use extension tubes
I'm recently told by an experienced Hassy repairman NOT to use extension tubes, since they can damage the camera or lens.

Hasselblad makes extension tubes. The tubes must be placed on the camera body and then the lens added on. The lens is removed first, then the tube. If the tube and lens are removed as a unit damage can occur. Like everything else RTFM*
* RTFM ==> Read the Friendly(Is that the word I really want??) Manual

Read The Full Manual ??

I sure like my Bronica S2a that I had for years and got some very nice photos with it. I had several lenses and a pretty full selection of accessories.
But the 1/40th flash sync was a downer, and I felt that couldn't use it except on a tripod.

My first reaction on reading that was, "like everything else Hasselblad, way more complicated than it needs to be and if you get it wrong repairs or at least extra work needed."

Not precisely... Read The (F***ing) Manual. Hint: The missing letters are u, c, and k.

Are 'u', 'c', and 'k' in any particular order?
I bought a fool-proof camera once. It was guaranteed absolutely fool-proof. I never had the chance to try though. Every time I reached for it... it moved away from my hands.
Roger, you are really reaching on this one. One can break any camera by not following the instructions. Even yours. I am willing to fly out to you and demonstrate this principle on your cameras.
And what's that well known problem with getting the lens locked to the body?
You can certainly damage my cameras by dropping, forcing etc. but I don't think any of them can be damaged just by manipulating the controls gently but incorrectly (exception - the flash synch and self timer on my Yashicamat 124 and that's incredibly dumb but not that likely to happen unless you were just fooling around.)
