Bronica strap attachments

Hi all,

I've recently acquired a Bronica SQ Ai which is in pretty good nick, with one careful owner from new. It has no strap or means of attaching one apart from the two bare lugs on the body. I would like to attach one.

The thoughts I have on this are that I can:

a) spend about £20 on fleab on a pair of allegedly original Bronica attachments and use my ageing Optech Pro strap with them or
b) just buy a pair of any old D-shaped stainless rings and stick the Optech strap on it or
c) use my Peak Design outfit.
d) use an Optech fabric loop strap
e) use an Optech metal swivel thing

I'm not fussy which one, apart from having a terrible feeling that £20 is an awful lot to spend on a couple of rings of uncertified provenance. I also have a nagging fear that the PD wire will cut into the lugs causing notching and roughness ( I seem to recall hearing reports of this with Fujifilm Mirrorless, though either I or the reports might be wrong ) and I'm not sure how reliable the Optech loops are.

Anyway, I wonder if anyone here has some experience of any of the above combinations and could give me some advice.

I've had an Optech strap with fabric loop attached to one of my SQ-A bodies for over 20 years now. I use a round d-ring with a leather backing tab to prevent scratching.
It's worked great as it doesn't get in the way when winding, changing backs or inserting dark slides. I like that the fabric loop keeps the bulky part of the strap away from the body but it's still really secure.

Creative Climber on ebay UK sells straps and triangular split rings. Also camera neck/shoulder straps complete with fittings.
Very reasonable prices. I have had things from them in the past with no troubles.
The post here is a bit slow at the moment due to the Black Friday sales, so bear that in mind when buying.

Thank you both for your help. I might buy a couple of O rings and protectors - or just a bit of leather/plastic - and use either my Optech or Peak Design straps with them.

Bronica supplied these cameras with wonderful D-rings. I'm sure KEH would have them. They have a small plastic cover that has a Bronica branding.

Thanks @mshchem but I'm in the UK.

I decided to go with the Bronica. On reflection, I thought why not just go with the manufacturers item? I found some for sale here in the UK
