Bronica SQ-Ai w/ 3 lenses, multiple finders and backs, accessories, and extras.
So you got some cash as a holiday gift and you say it's burning a hole in your pocket. Well, here's a solution to that problem.
SQ-Ai body is in excellent+ condition with front body cap. Just a few faint marks on the bottom. There are a couple of small indentations in the mask area on the rear where the film back is mounted. These do not effect images or light seal.
The focusing screen does have a faint mark in one corner.
Lenses, all are clean and scratch-free:
- 40mm f/4.0 PS lens in excellent+ condition with both original caps. 95mm filter size.
- 65mm f/4.0 PS lens in excellent condition with both original caps. 67mm fliter size.
- 80mm f/2.8 PS lens in excellent condition with original rear cap and generic front cap. There is some very slight wear on part
of the aperture ring. 67mm filter size.
Finders:
- Two(2) waist level finders. One is in like new condition, the other is pretty rough, alright ugly, but the magnifier glass only has a few very light scratches that don't interfere with viewing. I used the beater. The other is strictly a spare I kept at home.
- Prism finder S, 90 degree with eye cup, newer version, in very good condition. There are some light scuff marks on the sides. Glass is clean. It does make a slight clunk when flipped but it doesn't seem to cause any focusing problems. There is a -2.5 diopter installed. Also included is the +.5 diopter that came with it when purchased. Just FYI, standard diopter is -1.5 and the finder is not usable without some kind of diopter installed.
Film backs:
- 120i in good condition. Some marks. Large foam seal on shell is partially torn but has no effect on integrity, the rest are good.
- 220i in excellent condition. Seals good.
- 120 in excellent condition with some minor marks. Seals good.
- 120 in good condition. Some marks. Seals good.
Accessories:
- Bronica neck strap in excellent condition. This strap is dark blue with yellow trim. The yellow Bronica logo has been
toned down with a permanent black dye pen but it's still somewhat visible.
- Bronica 80/65 lens hood in fair condition. Outside has some wear. Inside clean. Hood locks properly.
- Generic metal wide angle 95mm screw-in hood. Like new.
- 95mm clip on Hasselblad lens cap. This was actually cheaper than a generic cap and I like using this better than the original screw-in cap. Like new.
- 95mm Hoya K2(Yellow) filter. Like new w/case.
- 67mm Hoya HMC K2 filter. Like new w/case.
- 67mm B+W MRC 091(#29-Dark Red) filter. Good condition. Light scratches. With case.
- 67mm Tiffen UV filter. Good condition. No case.
- Extra standard focusing screen. It has some scratches on it.
I tend to use KEH's rating system except I expand things a little on the low end. Good condition would be comparable to KEH bargain grade while very good would be bargain+. Fair would be bargain- but not ugly. I also tend to be conservative with the ratings.
I do have 100% positive feedback(user trnpix) at the big auction site but I haven't sold anything in many years.
As a added incentive for someone to purchase the kit, I'll throw in:
- Sekonic L-248 light meter, like new with box, case, lanyard, and instructions. This is a Cds meter that uses a px-625 battery. I'll include a couple of Wien cells. The meter is accurate. Matches both my Gossen SBC and Minolta spotmeter.
- Nine(9) rolls Fuji Acros 100 B&W 120, dated 1/2012. Stored in freezer.
- Eight(8) rolls Kodak E100G color slide 120, dated 1/2013. Refrigerated.
- LowePro Nova 4 bag, black, in good condition, which will hold almost all of this gear.
With the exception of, maybe, a tripod, this is everything one would need to start shooting immediately!
$1325 for everything, including fully insured shipping!
Paypal preferred. Continental US only, please.
While I do appreciate the image quality advantages of medium format and did enjoy using the gear, it just isn't practical for me to use anymore on a regular basis.
