For sale is my Bronica S2A with 3 filmbacks, 75mm Nikkor-P f2.8, 50mm Nikkor-H f3.5 and 135mm Nikkor-Q f3.5.
The camera itself is in VG+ condition, with minor scrapes here and there. The chrome is shiny with no corrosion and the leatherette is intact. Mechanically, it is in excellent shape. The shutter was overhauled last year and the camera was given a CLA. The focusing screen is a brightscreen, but I cannot determine the manufacturer. The mirror is bright. All shutter speeds are accurate. Focusing helicoid is smooth. Waist level finder hood is good, with the magnifier.
The 3 film backs (120/220) are light tight. Two are chrome trimmed and one is black. Inserts in good shape. Counters work. Dark slides included. A piece of the leatherette is peeling on the black back, but the chrome ones are fine.
The 75mm is a sweet lens which renders beautifully. Very Nikkor. Aperture blades are clean. Comes with a UV filter and original Bronica lens hood, and caps.
The 50mm is my favorite (I like shooting wide). Very sharp and in great condition. Aperture is clean. Comes with a UV filter, aftermarket hood, and original caps.
The 135mm is a great portrait lens, with great color and slightly softer in contrast. The aperture blades are a little slow to return (a very little), but I cannot see any oil on the blades so it might just be the spring that's a little worn. In practical use, you will never notice this, but I do want to mention it. Comes with a UV filter, caps.
I also have a spare waist level finder, but the spring on the magnifier is off and I haven't had the urge to fix it. I will also include the strap, an Op/Tech pro strap.
Please feel free to ask any questions. This is a great camera, and it is a little painful to let it go, but I travel a lot and it is just too big for that. At least for me. It is a beautiful camera system which rivaled Hasselblad, and it certainly is a work of art. They really do not put the care and attention into design and build like this any more.
$699 shipped in the USA (FedEx or USPS,your choice). PayPal preferred. If you pay the fees, that part will be donated to APUG.
