Greetings. The shutter speed indicator LEDs for my GS-1 are so dim I can't read them at all outdoors in my AE finder. They're just readable indoors with modest lighting. The warning light on the right hand side of the LED display shines brightly - and is easily visible outdoors in the finder - at the same time the shutter speed and exposure offset figures shine dimly in the finder. My perception of the relative brightness of the LEDs is the same if I look at the LED PCB on the body directly, versus through the finder. I bought the battery yesterday, so I don't think that's the problem. Do other GS-1 owners have a similar problem?
Thanks
Tom

I believe the LEDs are actually on the body, not the finder itself (unlike the ETR and SQ series.) So if its a LED issue, its in the body, not the finder. I have a 90 degree AE finder I never use so I can't comment on actual brightness.

I belive they will light up without the finder attached, so you may remove the finder to see how bright/dim they are.

Abruzzi, you are correct - the LED PCB is mounted in the body, and they do light up with the finder off. I modified my post to correct that mistake. Thank you.
