Got this ETRS a couple months ago for a steal, and while shooting with it, I noticed the original leatherette was coming up at the corners. I barely noticed it, and overall it wasn't bad, but I figured what the heck, lets make it mine! This is my first ever recovering ... got it from Cameraleather.com (hope its ok to plug that .. no I don't work there.) The choice of gray was rather arbitrary, I wanted it to be "different" but not snakeskin, hehe, and I like the texture/grip of this material. I didn't do the prism because they don't do custom cuts for the Prisms, but did send me a blank in case I wanted to do it myself .... but I may put a metered prism on eventually anyhow.

The process was pretty easy, I must say they make very precise cuts. I used the "wet" method on some of the trickier sides.

Oooo, nice! :D
On my monitor it looks light blue, which is purty, too.
Is that the "Griptac" stuff?

Yep, Griptac Gray. It does look a little "bluer" on the computer screen. Its really a light gray.

Looks very neat!

Grey was a good choice. Definitely an improvement over the original. Congrats!

Good to see the patient is completely recovered!

I usually hate " Pimped up" cameras, but must confess this looks very good, and the grey covering suits it.
