Bronica ETR series 40mm lens hood

I just bought a used "Lens Hood for 40/50mm Lenses for ETR Series Cameras" from B&H, which is traveling to me in South Africa via a somewhat circuitous route and will only arrive in November. Now I've just seen on http://bronica.net/complete-lens-production-bronica-etr-1976-2004.html that the PE lens (which I have) apparently takes a "Lens hood E for PE 40/50". So now I'm concerned that the hood I have just bought may not be the right one for my 40mm PE lens!

Does anyone here know whether the standard (MC) 40/50mm hood will also fit the 40mm PE lens? Obviously there may be a cosmetic difference with the PE hood; I'm just hoping there's not a compatibility problem.

No problem. I have both the MC 40mm and the PE 40mm, and can assure you that there was no change to the way the hood mounts. It will fit both.

All the 40mm lenes use 62mm filters so you should be OK. I'd buy one of these just to be sure:

Thanks for the suggestion aoresteen, although it seems that that won't be necessary as the Bronica hood I have purchased will work.
