Hi all. After working normally for awhile, my Bronica EC now raises the mirror every time I wind it on to cock the shutter. Something in the mechanism must be out of sequence. Has anyone ever experienced this with their Bronica EC, S2, S etc,? It's like having mirror lock up on every shot. Maybe there is a simple fix.... Many thanks!

There's supposed to be a mirror lock up knob on the left side of the body.
Perhaps its a bit wonky on yours?
You might try switching it on and off a few times and trying the shutter again.

Thanks for the advice. I figured it might be a fault with the mirror lockup mechanism. I did turning it on and off quite a bit and there was no change. I might need to open that side of the camera up to see if I can figure out if something is broken.

So, I able to reach the mirror lock up mechanism just by taking the flash shoe off. The mechanism was binding. After adding a little watch oil to the mechanism, it is back to normal. Thanks!
