I've picked up a set of 3 Broncolor Impact 41's plus extra's on Ebay for $1000.
They've had a life but haven't been too abused.
So i'm excited!

Problem is i know nothing about these. Theres no info on Bron's site that i can see. Can anyone shed some light on these (sorry, couldn't resist )

I have an IFU which covers the Impact 21 and Impact 41. Are you still looking for info - I guess you know all there is now from practical experience..? (I have two 21s)

I used a pair of (IIRC) 41s a while back.
Nice little units, and very versatile for those who travel between 110 and 240v areas, as they can run on either.
They have a 3 or 4 stage variable power dial, both on modelling light and main flash, and a built in slave cell.
They seemed to recycle pretty quickly.
One thing to be aware of is the sync socket - it uses a 3.5mm jack plug instead of the more common 1/4" jack - although it will adapt easily.

Hope this is of some use
