Hi all,

Hope I'm not posting this subject in the wrong place.

Has anyone heard or bought anything from Bromwell Marketing. Was it a good experience dealing with them? Was the transaction smooth? Honest business practice? Any comment is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
I got a osaka 4x5, 120 & 180 lens from him. No complaints. Good to deal with.

* No I have not yet purchased from them, However they were helpfull with prompt literature, Cheers Barrie B. *

Thanks for the feedbacks. Really appreciate it!

I made two purchases from Bromwell: a Bosscreen & a replacement bellows, both for my 4x5 Linhof Technika. Ted sent my bellows to England (Camera Bellows Ltd) for a factory replacement, as it turned out that he wasn't able to service it locally, as he'd anticipated. I spoke with him a number of times, and the service was just fine.

Thanks Paddy. Looks good to me. Appreciate it!

Dumb linhof Technika user needs help removing bellows

I am trying to figure out how to remove the bellows on my Technika IV to get the bellows replaced. If I am correct there is supposed to be a way to remove the bellows frame. Is this correct? How do you remove the frame?

Extend the bellows and find the four screws behind front standard. You can unscrew the four rods that are used for the back movements from the front of the main housing - they have straight slot-heads. It's not too hard, just get some good small screwdrivers.

Bromwell has been around for years, which says a lot right there.

I don't know how they are today, but a few years ago they were just great; the owner would answer the phone and was very candid and helpful, and sent me a great packet of information.

The bellows - Frank was right on. FWIW there is a IV, V brand new bellows still in the package on eBAy. Dunno if the price is right. I am tempted.
