Hello all, I would like to double check if I am right or if I did something wrong.

I just prepared a 5 litres of Bromophen, my first time at it. I diluted the part A in 3.75 litres of water, at exactly 40C, then I added part B and completed the water to have 5 litres, still at 40c. Everything looks good, but I got a few quantity of the final solution on my fingers, and I was surprised to feel the texture. It made me think of a kind of liquid soap, it was like greasy. I will try some paper in it, probably tomorrow night.

Is it the normal texture, or did I goofed with something ?

Regards.

The developer is alkaline and many (most ? all?) alkaline solutions "feel" greasy, so I'd say it's normal. It's a sensible idea to use print-tongs when developing of course, or nitrile gloves for big prints, but it's very unlikely that your fingers or skin will fall off (oops, I mean "suffer adverse effects") from a small accident like that.
