Red paint still contains quite a bit of white pigment, otherwise you'd need about twelve coats of the
stuff. It's not pure color by any means. But the idea would never work anyway.


I sometimes watch our colour matching expert at work mixing screen printing inks. You would be surprised by the amount of other colours involved. Even more surprising is the amount of red which goes into some shades of blue.
