Thanks for the information. I'm working on a little project. Beseler Negatrans 120 negative carrier. I'm going to sneak into my wife's studio and use her Foredom tool. Hopefully I will find a small bit for sanding.

Negatrans takes rolls of processed film, transports and positions each negative in that "window" for printing.

One level up from Foredom is a 1/4" Die Grinder. My Makita is about $150 now. !/4" Carbide bits are inexpensive, lots of shapes and longer lasting than most of the Dremel bits. Not a replacement for Foredom but larger/more power. You can carve steel without a big investment.
