BPX 49_halfaman_view from Ristorante Sosta sulla Francigena's terrace.jpg

My print is on the mail.
Hi Juan, received your print today and it's fantastic - thank you! A captivating scene (a view from Ristorante Sosta on Francigena's terrace in Tuscany). I like the human interest in the view and the detritus of all the other people that looked to have also enjoyed the location. It's a particularly beautiful part of the world and a perfect capture of it. It would be great to make the trip there myself someday but for the moment will travel with this.

And thanks for listing out the technical details, I'm looking up those various items now. I have to admit I've not seen a colour print like this, and the scanned image doesn't look quite the same, it's far nicer in print. Interesting to see how good a print can be, which was half the reason I wanted to do the exchange. This is large at 24 x 30cm.

I've only developed a couple of rolls of colour film myself, and the colours were all off - seeing this makes me want to have another go, and see what it would take to make some colour enlargements. I have a mini Durst F30 which wont quite get me to this level!

Thanks again

I can do nothing but encourange you to go for color printing. There is good people here in photrio to help.

Earlier this week I received a nice print from mfohl; an old and weathered barn door in somewhere in Central Ohio. I was well printed on Ilford MGRC pearl paper. Something quite different from what I usually shoot myself. But that's the nice thing about these exchanges, it opens your view and mind. Thanks Mark!

A couple of days ago I received a couple of very nice prints from @spijker. Both are from Bologna in Italy. I really enjoy both. The workmanship in printing them is very good - printed on Ilford FB Classic (12x9,5) and selenium toned. The tonality in both, especially in the one from the covered side walk, is excellent. Both compositions are very much to my liking.
I have attached mobile phone pictures which do not give the prints justice. Thank you for the prints .

I received last friday two very interesting prints from @Don_ih. exploring an abandoned house and its surroundings. I like them both, separate and seen together. Thanks, Don!

The picture below is terrible, I know, but it is all what I was able to do with my tablet. I think it helps to get a glimpse of Don work nevertheless.

@halfaman -- I'm glad it made it and that it's to your liking. I have been at that property many times over the years. Here is an even worse phone photo of a print from 2018:

(actually a screen capture of a phone photo of a print - printed April 30, 2018 - I uploaded to Instagram)

The craggy roots I sent you in the print were in the ground in 2018. Those trees are in bits in the other photo I sent you.

Funny how quickly time passes and I swear I couldn't recall those trees actually standing.
