Hi All,

I have a box full of enlarger lenses in my darkroom which I haven't got round to testing. Most of them came from yard sales or thrift shops, so I don't really have much invested in them. Is there a lens in this lineup which would be worth keeping? I mostly use a Durst M605 enlarger.
Beslar f/3.5, 50mm
S-Taylor Tayon f/3.5, 50mm
Componar f/4.5, 50mm
Componon-S f/2.8, 50mm
El-Nikkor f/2.8, 50mm
Componar-C f/3.5, 50mm

Thanks!
~Dom

from what i know (not that much, lol) the nikkon 50 2.8 and componon-s 50 2.8 seem like your best bets. but i could be wrong

these two are worth holding onto:

Componon-S f/2.8, 50mm
El-Nikkor f/2.8, 50mm

Componon S and EL-Nikkor. Top notch optics. Keep these.

S-Taylor Tayon 50mm

Real dark horse sleeper lens there

I just wanted to pretend that I have secret knowledge

Depending on condition, Componon-S f/2.8, 50mm, El-Nikkor f/2.8, 50mm

These two lenses are super clean. They were the only ones that I bought that came in some kind of pastic box/container. I've done a quick bit rearch on line and these two lenses appear to be a good bet.

Thanks!
~Dom
