Anyone here had any issues with this? I recently purchased one with a 250w Bowens head. Tested it at home, worked ok. First paid job i took it on - two test flash's for metering and then the alert light on the battery pack showed. The one that means it can't deliver a charge to the flash.

It had been charged over night (comes with a trickle charger) so I know it should've been fully charged.

I've already returned this to the shop and am waiting (13days now) for a new one. Only had it for 3 weeks!!!

Just wondering if the brand is poor, it seemed fairly well built. I'm trying to avoid having to go the profoto way for my credit card's sake

I have no current knowledge about Bowens, but my Bowens monolights in a location kit are at least 30 years old, and are still working great.
