As a follow up to the (there was a url link here which no longer exists) topic
the BBC has reported today that Boots has merged with the US company Walgreens and 700 jobs are being axed from Boots. For those in the US who don't know, Boots is one of the oldest high street chain stores in the UK with a large HQ in Nottingham UK. They have 2500 stores UK wide.
Interesting that this all happened at the same time Ilford has negotaiated to put 120 film back on the shelves in the Boots stores.
Do Walgreens sell film in the US?
Does this mean Ilford will try and get its film on Walgreens shelves ?
