Does this mean Ilford will try and get its film on Walgreens shelves ?
Interesting as Walgreen's own Asda in the U.K. and most if not all Asda stores have a photo dept but "of the other kind"
If Walgreen's see a potential revival of film then it might well put Ilford film on its Asda shelves as well.

Walmart own ASDA not Walgreen's.

Walgreens is a US pharmacy chain. It probably has a little more of the convenience store feel than Boots. Though Boots has changed a lot from the original High Street Chemist. I used to buy vinyl records in Boots...and GAF slide film.
Boots is also a Drug manufacturer so that benefits both companies, the Boots headquarters is like a small town.

.The huge office was really old school and was like something you would see in an old film with rows and rows of clerks sitting at small desks in a massive warehouse like space. And building after building on the site.
Were they reluctantly given Xmas day off to spend with Tiny Tim?

True, I worked on a competitive pricing system for them years ago at the Nottingham HQ.The huge office was really old school and was like something you would see in an old film with rows and rows of clerks sitting at small desks in a massive warehouse like space. And building after building on the site.
This takeover took place some time ago, on January 1st 2015.
Its called Walgreens Boots Alliance
