Blue Colour Cast on Kodak Endura

Hey guys,

I've just tried some Kodak Endura Matte paper after being on Fuji Crystal all the time and what i noticed was that my blacks have a blue / purple cast on them. Is that normal for this paper or am I missing something? It looks way more black on the print but as soon as I have my scan its pretty blueish.

Based on what you say it looks as if the problem is likely to be with scanning but how to fix will need a scanning person's input and I am not such a person

OP, threads involving a potential scanning issue should be in the "hybrid" category.

steveyolk, it would help if you gave us a picture of your print on Kodak Endura and maybe a similar picture of a Fuji Crystal print.

If it looks black on the real print then your printing worked. If your scan looks different from what you see on the print, then fix your scanning and post processing procedure.
