I sent mine out this morning. All the way to Italy. I sent two because it seemed too far for just one print.

It seems Dave Miller had the same idea! I received not one but two amazingly printed gorgeous black and white photos from Dave Miller!! Thank you so much and I really love the images. One is an infrared image of Whitby Abbey and the other is a detail in Laycock Abbey of an open wooden door bathed in a striking swath of sunlight. Both equally English (which I LOVE!) and equally enjoyable. I love Dave's prints. They positively glow! The image of the door is incredible in the way I can see delicate details in the shadows with the highest highlight possessing enough detail to not be blown out. I feel so lucky today.

It seems many of us have thought the same, once that you are sending one, better two and you double the success rate .

But it was going to be a surprise for the receiver that is....

Cheers

I was surprised to receive two beautiful prints from Alfonso Gorostiza. Alfonso produced a gorgeous seaside landscape of the San Juan de Gaztelugatxe coast and picture of some Icelandic horses.

I count myself lucky to have received your prints, thank you.

I received a nice print from Kathy (KWhitmore) yesterday. She has captured the mood of the location very well, and her print is a reminder that I should see if I can get hold of some Kentmere paper. Thanks a lot.

Regards

Birger A.

My print has been shipped sooner than anticipated. It will take 10 to 14 days to reach beautiful Spain.

I hope he likes the color print.

I got a lovely print from Randy (Rlibersky) today. It shows the interior of a general store in an old western town in Montana. It conveys a real timeless mood, enhanced by the fact that it's printed on 1949 (!) Kodak Illustrator paper.

Very nice!

I received today morning not one but TWO fantastic prints from jeroldharter!
We like the same photographic paper I see... even if I don't use it often because in Italy it's becoming hard to find Kentmere (sob!).
Really many thanks!

Received a beautifully printed abandoned mine from Simone Amici in Genova. There is something fascinating about dereliction which this shot catches very well.

Thanks Simone!

Yesterday I got a wonderful picture from Kevin (Spiralcity). It is a colour Chicago cityscape. Ahhh, it makes me remember about a wonderful week I spent in Chicago some 12 years ago.

Thanks Kevin, for the picture and for the memories.

Cheers

I sent my print out today. Last week I recieved 2 very nice prints from Mark (unhinged). Mark, I DO very much appreciate your thoughts in your choice of prints to send to me. You say you are new to this? Couldn't prove it by the prints. I wish mine looked that good when I started out.
Thanks,
John Berry (vet173)
