Three lovely little coastal landscapes on Ilford GmArt 300 arrived today from Laurent.

( Thanks for the confirmation, and even more for the nice comments! )

Received two excellent prints from Mr. Talcott (artcarbuncle) a couple of days ago.

One is a landscape scene taken in Paradise Valley, MT, the other is an abandoned schoolhouse in MT. Beautiful tones in both.

Thank you sir!

Ok, the print is in the mail.

And received in a chilly but sunny, snowy but wet UK. :D

It's a lovely dark and moody set up still life(?) of the photographers guitar, amp and favourite whiskey. Its mood reflects the current weather really well

Another great picture for my ever expanding folder.

Many thanks Richard / Russo.

PS I think you should look into the postage for sending internationally. I don't have older envelopes from other exchanges to hand, but I feel that you have paid way over the top for sending the print to me at US $13.50 (?!?!?) But having had a browse of the US postal service website, I found it very confusing and found it hard to find the cheapest price for you. Anyone else in the US know how much they pay to send a thick envelope to the UK? I'm sure others received have been way lower than this price!???

The postal worker asked if it could be bent, what was inside, etc. Then she whipped out a customs form, saying it just had to be sent a certain way. Standing in line, I was reading their pricing listed above the counter, but like the website it was as clear as mud. I did think it was a bit much, but it's generally been my experience that they always offer the cheapest way, so I dunno...

Then again, the postage for the prints I received from artcarbuncle, from Montana to Illinois, was $4.50. So maybe it has to do with the fact that it's larger than letter size, and requires special handling...

Canvassy (Mike) sent me a pic across the pond in a firm/flexible board "Photo Document Mailer" - Ready Post Size 9 3/4" x 12 1/4" from St Paul. MN - Belgium US Postal Service, it seems the envelope cost $1.59 and cost him $4.16 for postage.
Photo was well protected.

I guess this is from bpx 26.

UweI I got the image from Mike for BPX26. So guess it must be for the #27...

Finally sent my photo today. I made two mistakes in mounting and could not get back into the darkroom in time. It probably won't arrive in time for Christmas, but maybe it makes it for the New Year.

Lars

Uwe, I think you may have forgotten to put me into sent list (see #30).
Unfortunately, it's more than three weeks already and it looks like my prints are still under way according to tracking system, hopefully they arrive to the recipient in 2017..

Sorry for that.

I'm glad the print arrived safely to you, I quite like the photo mailers the USPS has so the feedback is good to hear.

Happy new year everyone! Just got back from our Christmas trip and found a parcel delivery notice in the mail. The parcel turned out to be two beautiful prints from Igor Kustov (iakustov) all the way from St Peterburg, Russia. They're beautiful cityscapes taken in Pskov and St Petersburg. Well printed and nicely toned in Selenium toner to give it some warmth that compensates a bit for the frigid temperatures in Ottawa (-25C). :D A nice addition to my BPX print collection. Спаси́бо Игорь !

Glad you like it Menno. It’s mostly raining (+1C), I wish it was -20C here in St Petersburg now..
