Well, here we are again! Remember that the exchange time period is October-November. December will be rest and we will have the round 17 signup in January.

Here is the roster. I have just sent out the PMs so if you didn't get one please let me know ASAP. Do not send your print until Thursday, September 4 to allow for address corrections just in case, heaven forbid, I screwed something up or someone moved since they sent their address and forgot to tell me. Your PM will also contain your own address; please check it and notify me at once if it is incorrect or out of date.

Dear Mike,

I used an old russian panoramic camera, a Gorisont, this one (top of the page)

They can be found at ebay for not much. I payed around 150$. I don't like the newer ones (Horizon) which contain a lot of plastic. But they may take good photos too. You can see them at the and of the page. New models can be bought.

The image was taken in Iceland not in Finland. Iceland is much more expansive. If you take a trip to there buying and extra camera does not count much ;-)

By the way, I have made my print today. And I think I like it. I will let it sit for a day to make sure it's good enough to be sent.

The night before last my wife was all excited that she had found an old Kodak #1 Panoramic camera on EBay. I was disappointed -- I want a 7x17! She's trying, though. This past summer she came home with some ancient swinging-lens camera missing half its parts and needing 4" (101mm) roll film. She's a good girl.

Iceland, yes: sorry. I have no idea why I typed Finland. Also, I like the print on Seagull Warm Tone very much. That paper seems to fit the image well. Thank you!

I received my print today from Eugene . I was pleasantly surprised to find a very large color print. This thing is gorgeous! I've very impressed with the craftsmanship that went into printing it. Now I just need to frame and hang it on the wall.
