I read in the "Sticky" that it is standard to send an 8x10, but did not know strict that is.

The 'norm' is indeed an 8x10, but if you read further, you'll see that many different formats have been exchanged. In essence, there are no 'rules' around format. Think of it more as a guide to help newbies like yourself. Whoever receives an 11x14 from you, I'm sure would greatly appreciate it.

I'd like to participate again. I'll send my info again too, although I may be on file from an older round.

One question though, I was toying with the idea of sending a colour print, but it wouldn't be printed by me as my darkroom facilities don't go that far. Are lab produced prints (8x10) acceptable, and more importantly, consistent with the spirit of the exchange?

One of the labs I deal with still does up to 8 x 10 optically, so there aren't any problems with inadvertent digitalization.

Sure. Shot on film, printed on paper that is processesed in wet chemistry, ergo lab prints are analog too. Sort of. The machine does the wet darkroom work. Close enough.
