Except the last two shots from yesterday. I have an RB67, and am using a newer 120 back that I got a while ago. Since then, I've run through 2 other rolls of film with no worries.

I developed this roll today, and the film came out clear except for the last two images shot yesterday. The rebate shows the frame numbers as well.

I "Think" it might be the lens I was using. I usually shoot with my 50mm, but I did have my 180 on it for "some" or all of the others. Can't really remember.

Think it's that lens? How can I test it?

Found my answer. I put the lens on 1 second, and it never sounded like my 50 does when shooting at 1 second. Not sure if there is anything I can do with the lens to be honest though.

Check the lens.
- Put the lens on the camera.
- Remove the back
- Look through the back when you fire the camera.
- You "should" see daylight coming thru the lens.
- Check the lens at ALL shutter speeds and all aperture settings to make sure you see daylight.
- This at least tells you that the shutter and aperture are working with that lens.

- You cannot test the shutter speed for accuracy w/o a shutter speed tester.
- Finally read the manual for any tip on long exposures, example your 1 second setting.

A very common problem when lenses need CLAs is the sutter doesn't open n close at the propper time.

Fire the lens with the back off n you'll see it opens for focusing but on firing it will close down n stay shut throughout the cycle... needs cleaning, maybe a spring is off it;s place.. not a big problem.

I get guaranteed blank Mamiya RB67 negatives everytime I leave the little dial on the lens in "Mirror Up" mode instead of "Normal" mode and just use the body shutter release instead of a cable release on the lens. There is no safety interlock warning of this error. The camera sounds like it is working perfectly but the shutter never opens.

good point!
Be sure to check the mirror up switch on the lens?
