Hi,

I recently obtained a Yashica D TLR. I’d like to use it to shoot silhouettes in the city.

Is it better to shoot them in bright light or at sunrise and/or sunset?

Any advice on this venture is appreciated.

Thank you

The success of silhouettes often depends on the direction of the light.
So if you want the light source to be the sun, and to be low in the sky, that implies either end of the day.
