Hello all,
I've been thinning out the herd a little and this camera made the cut a couple of times, but I just find that I'm not shooting it at all. For sale is a Black Canon AE-1 Program with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 Lens. I bought this camera about 10 years ago to use in school and it worked really well. It sat unused for a few years and about a year ago I picked it up off the bookshelf and used it for a roll of film. It worked flawlessly, but I've got a BUNCH of 35mm gear and don't really need this guy so I'm letting it go.
The camera and lens are both in excellent working and cosmetic condition. There is some wear on the camera from normal use. It has never been dropped or banged around. I've kept it in fairly good condition. It does have the infamous Canon squeal, but the meter is accurate and exposures are spot on (pardon the pun). The glass on the lens is clean with no scratches. The focus is smooth and the apertures are snappy. All in all, this would be a great camera to add to an FD collection or for a student.
I'd like to get somewhere in the $100 range for it including PayPal and shipping within the continental US. Worldwide shipping can be arranged. The price includes the camera and lens (no caps, but I'll wrap it up good so it arrives safely). I think I might have a Domke gripper strap that I can throw in there as well if I can find it.
