Once the button of the gyro is depressed, almost all motion is eliminated and a stable view obtained.
Great for boats, night star gazing,etc.
They are rubber protected and take inclement weather ok but can not be immersed.
The rubber protective cover is sticky on parts of the front, this does not affect function but it will give you a light sticky feeling when holding them.
