Thanks Dan! I just made a gratuitous self-promo post in the thread I originally started while looking for printers to do this job. Sorry all for doubling up!

Bill

This is really great, congratulations!

What is your personal reaction when viewing these large prints of your work when you normally print much smaller. Quite different?

Jim

''New MGM Grand Detroit opens'. I see no mention of Bill. Am I missing something?

Hi Jim, Thanks! It is very strange, but to be honest it is pretty breathtaking... As you say, I like smaller, more intimate prints in general but this has been an eye opening experience. I've a couple other opportunities to work large and am looking forward to the chance, but I am in no way a bigger is better kind of guy. There are some things that simply wouldn't work at this size.

Thanks again!

Looks like they added an extra picture after the links were posted. Try http://info.detnews.com/pix/photogalleries/newsgallery/newmgmgrand10042007/index27.htm and http://info.detnews.com/pix/photogalleries/newsgallery/newmgmgrand10042007/index30.htm to see Bill's photos on the walls (these are one image back from the original links).

Nice to see some class hanging on the walls!

Bob.

[Typical: in the time it took me to post, 2 others beat me to it  ]

Congratulations Bill! I remember seing these in the gallery over at hybridphoto. They look great in place.

Does this increase the cachet of the Elevator workshop you taught (and I attended) earlier in the summer?

When will you start posting questions in the LF Forum :D

Yikes, but that's a ton of foot traffic walking past your prints...better than a billboard Bill!

Murray

Awesome, Bill. They look fantastic and very classy.

All the best,
Daniel

Warmest congratulations Bill, way to go!

Wow... Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it. Don't know how far all this big stuff will go, but it certainly has been fun and I hope I get the chance to do more.

Best, Bill
