BIG TELCO OUTAGE

Hello folks,

The site has been down for a while as have 1,000's of other sites due to a big failure on a telco switch. So no, it wasn't the upgrade taking place because when that happens the site will be viewable. Atleast we're back up now

Miserable weather here in Sunshine state; so, with APUG being unavailable, checked out some other forums. Lenswork is still down, View Camera is empty, LF has an occasional interesting thread. But one I did find is Alt.Chat recently started by the Alternative Photography site. May have potential for some helpful information.

Sean, that was horrible! I even had to resort to sleeping which I never do. my pre withdrawal symptoms are now a syndrom. I was told Rodinal would help short term, but hubby has to put up with my cranky mood until it passes.

I thought so, too. Or, for a brief guilty moment, I thought my weekend boss might have realized how much time I spend reading the site and was blocking the DNS. Glad it's not the case .

It really must have been a bad outage as apug.org was not in my ISP's dns zone files and I could not resolve the IP address. But glad to see all back up and running. Any idea who the ISP was?
