I have done a bargain 3 boxes of Astia-100f 4x5 in Quickload, expired 2008, at basically price of one box. Hadn't though of shooting reversal, not negative colour either, in 4x5, but after playing recently with BW+c41 development of some 120 reversal rolls I got along a bunch of BW, it seems expired reversal can be a good alternative for some colour in 4x5 once in a while without going bankrupt.
so I have these 3 boxes, a total of 60 sheets. It's quite voluminous. I have no quickload back, use Grafmatic back of regular double holder.
the picture resumes the operation, a bit time consuming but not much. It goes fast in the dark. And, yes, the sheet inside the QuickLoad envelop is a regular one with the notches.
from the pile to the left into a regular empty 4x5 box. I keep the thick dark plastic bag and cardboard fold used inside the boxes
59 times this and then
put a label and the small box with 59 sheets to the frigde:
no I have to hurry to buy all expired Quickload film available online before it goes up similar to regular 4x5 packages... :->
