I'm doing FB prints so a tube is right out due to paper sag. That's a pity as it would certainly be convenient. Having read Lloyd's posts years ago I did originally consider the single tray fill-and-dump approach, but my working space is really compact with no usable sink and I didn't find the idea of buckets on the floor and pouring stuff in and out in the near-dark very appealing. My memory of The Great Fixer Flood of '14 is still painfully fresh. My scheme actually worked out surprisingly well.
I'm glad the space where my enlarger sits prevents me from doing 20x24, now that would be a challenge!
