[I know this is a newbie question. I did search the archive but primarily found discussions of pure analog printing vs d*****l printing on crystal archive paper. My apologies if I missed a relevant thread.]
After years of just doing B&W, I have been taking some Velvia 4x5 transparencies. Amazingly enough, I got some shots that are good enough to want to print rather than just grumble about on the light box
. The lab where I got them processed can print them but I believe they include a $10 scanning fee in the price per sheet that is printed. Is this standard? My scanner can do 4x5 transparencies but the quality, color matching, etc is questionable since it was the cheapest scanner I could find that would do 4x5. Any suggestions?
I do not have a color head on my enlarger so I could not do it myself either way.
Thanks,
Rob
