Best lens hood for Konica S2

Is there a lens hood that will not interfere with the focusing patch or block too much of the viewfinder?

eBay seller "Heavystar" probably has a rangefinder-style slotted hood that would fit.

I might just forego a hood, and use state of the art nano-coated filters along with my hand when necessary.

Early ones like mine do not. Plus, I don't know that the hood from the later one will fit it.

I sometimes buy cheap old effect filters on flea markets and knock the glass out. One to three of the rings make for decent hoods.
