I just received the "upgrade kit" that supposedly converts a Besseler Printmaker 35 to be able to print 6x7 negs. The kit consists of two large lenses. That's it. No instructions. I've tried to get it to work but see horrid light falloff along the edges. The lens is a 50mm Rodenstock. Do I need a different lens?

And why couldn't Besseler include instructions????

It's the lens

Hi, you might check to see if there is a diagram on the back of the slide-up front cover. The rounded part of the condensers should point toward each other.

Jon

Thanks Jon, I did evenually put them in that configuration and got the lowest level of light falloff. But I had to swap lenses. With my 75mm lens there is no light falloff.
