Beseler slide king II

So I just picked up a Beseler slide king II projector. It came with a 6.5" lens, working bulb and a medium format slide holder.

I'm wondering if anyone has used one of these with the 6.5" lens. As I'm trying to Gage if I have enough space to properly project an image with this. As I only have about 8 feet or so of space to set this up in my house.

Strange, I just got one too in Minnesota. Did you by chance get yours at the University of Minnesota ReUse Center?

I want to project images on an outdoor wall with a Beseler Slide King II projector. Everything on this beauty works. What I can't figure out from the discussions I've seen here, folks discuss brightness. This projector uses a 1000 watt bulb. I need to know what the throw distance is for slides 3" x 4 1/4" (film placed between glass). The last successful outdoor projection was accomplished over approx. 90 meters. The current available projection spot is approx. 58 meters. But at this distance I could not get a focused imaged. Help! Advice?
