Is there more than one type of 35mm carrier for a Beseler 45.?
Some of them say Full-Frame. Is that bigger or different than a "normal" 35mm negative.?
Thank You

I believe the concept behind this is to print the complete image area and in addition produce a thin black border around the image.

Looks like it will also print the Sprocket Holes......?

I have the FF 35mm negative carrier for the Beseler 45 series enlargers and it does not print the sprocket holes. I haven't used it for many, many years, but I don't remember it allowing any thin black line around the image area either. I'd have to go measure it, but IIRC the edges of the carrier hole area are very close to the exact size of a 35mm negative; vs the standard carriers which intrude into the image area about 3mm or so.

The alternatives (per Beseler product sheet)
  • Beseler # 8304 is for 24x36,
  • the #8302 is for '35mm film full format (25x37mm)
  • the #8305 for 35mm mounted slides
  • #8081 is the 35mm Negatrans
