I recently purchased a Mamiya RZ67. I'm now making the changes to my Beseler 23CII to be able to print the 6x7 negs. I purchased a used Rodenstock 105mm 4.5 Rogonar-S enlarging lens. Looking at the Beseler owners manual it says I should use the #8029 lens board. I swapped the 105mm with the 50mm that I had, and it seems to fit the #8021 lens board. Is there a reason why I would still need to get the #8029? Or will I be fine? I also have the Ilford under the lens contrast filter set. Will they work with the new set up, or do I need to get a set of the 6"x6"?

Thanks

P.S. I haven't been posting for a while because I haven't been able to do much. I injured my shoulder about 16 months ago. After trying to wish it back to normal, and going through 12 weeks of therapy, I had to have surgery. I'm just starting to be able to lift the new camera onto the tripod. Never thought I'd be afraid of dropping something weighting only 6lbs! I'm still looking at another 4-6 months before I'm back to 100%, So I've been checking in, but not contributing. Hoping that changes soon

If it fits and you can focus, you should be fine. Hope the shoulder improves.

The 8029 board has the same size mounting hole as the 8021, but has a 5/8" extension. For a given size enlargement you'll be able to use less bellows extension with the 8029. This isn't really an issue unless you're making really small prints with your 105, or if you're using a 135mm lens. As mgb74 said, if you can focus it's fine.
