Hello all,
I just purchased a used Beseler Dichro 45S color head. I quickly plugged it in to make sure it's working, I noticed that the cooling fan didn't seem to be running. Does the cooling fan come on immediately when you turn the enlarger on, or does it only come on once the bulb has heated up? If it is on, should I be able to hear it?

Thanks

You should hear the fan as soon as you turn on the head. The fan stays on for the duration of the head being on. I think you've got a problem.

Turns out since I was quickly checking the head, I only connected one power cord. I just tried again with both cords connected and the fan is working fine.

Thanks for your help.
