I have purchased this beseler 67s, and was wondering what the white light/filter retractor lever is. Does anybody know what that feature is, how to use it, and what it is used for? Thanks.

Is it on the left side? then, it is for raising\lowering the head from the lens to load the neg carrier

i dont know which side its on yet,as i purchased it online, and am getting it soon, but the whole white lite reatractor/ filter thing confused me. Thanks for the thought.

Marko must be having a senior moment. The white light/filter retractor lever is a quick way of removing all filtration without changing the filter settings. You normally use it to focus in the brightest light available.
