For Sale Beseler 5x7 Cold Light enlarger 57MB (plus others)

Rare 5x7 original cold light Besler 57MB enlarger with Aristo "Vario" tube (a single color tube balanced for use with variable contrast papers) . With hard to find original 5x7 glass negative carrier. Includes a variety of Beseler 45 carriers in most usual formats; these are easily adapted to this enlarger (Beseler made a simple cutout plate adapter). I can probably find a lens board or two also.

This has been on loan to a friend for a while, but now needs a new home. I paid $200 for this a year and a half ago. I'd like to recover what I can of that.

I know I may well end up having to part this out, but hate to do that and want to see if anyone wants the entire enlarger first. I already have an APUG'er on line for the head, but we haven't worked out a price yet. The carrier will be available if I go that route. I'm open to offers and trades (looking for a Contax SLR body, 35mm film, paper, ...).

Pickup in the Morgantown, W.Va. area. I'm 75 miles south of Pittsburgh, and 3 1/2 to 4 hours from DC.

Also available at the same time - custom 5x7 Durst L1000 w/color head - this is a 4x5 enlarger and head, home modified to 5x7. It has a very solid, compact wall mount chassis. Also Beseler 45 chasis complete and working, but no head/light source. Should be some other odds and ends too.

Thanks. PM me and we can talk price. I'm waiting to hear from the person who had first inquired about the head, just pm'd him last evening.

If anybody wants to buy and pick up the entire enlarger that would be great. Let me know. I don't want to over complicate this; my goal is to find a new home for the stuff, and recover as much of my cost as possible, but I still hate to see nice stuff (like the chassis/motor) go to the dump so will give the listing a little time today just in case somebody wants the whole thing (or some of the other enlargers/stuff mentioned).
