A few days ago, I got a Beseler 23CII from a friend of mine.
To complete the setup, I bought a 35mm negative carrier, a lens mounting plate end the lens.

With the enlarger, I also got a dual dichro head.

My question is a fewfold one.

Does someone have the dichro head manual in pdf format? I'm not sure exactly how to set it up. Can I leave the condenser or is it working with the diffuser. What is the square aluminium tubing for?

The baseboard is missing; what is the nominal baseboard size, and is there any experimental sizes someone ever tried.

Last question; any equivalence between Ilford multigrade filters and the dual dichro head ?

Thanks in advance for your help

I believe the square tube is a "light tube" for use with the diffuser to increase efficiency.
Make a base board from two 3/4" thick pieces of MDF. Oversize is better.
I think you'll find approximate dichro settings with the paper.
