It's impossible to tell from their website. They do have a calendar of trade shows they are planning to attend. The next one being in April. Otherwise there is now 'News' section.

It may well be that one person is handling such inquiries and is unavailable for some reason.

Just called them Monday. Of course, they are in business.

Berlebach is a small company. It might be that they don't speak English very well, or that they have just one person in the team speaking English. Suggestion: Copy your text, have it translated with https://deepl.com (English-German) and send it again. Usually they are very responsive.

Thank you, they should've translated my message. I've decided to go with a Ries A-100

I always send a short English introduction, followed by a computer generated translation into the local language, especially to a business in a rural area of any country. While most people may expect fabricators in Germany will speak English, in certain areas this is often not the case. Berlebach is in an area that was controlled by the Russians, is very close to the Polish and Czech borders so I would expect that English for many may be a third or fourth language.

I have in fact done just that with Berlebach for some tripod parts for my Berlebach tripod around 3-4 years ago. I received a reply in German and completed the transaction online as I knew which part number to order.

Website has English version but they don’t speak it ? Sorry, that is laughable. I find a LOT of German sites, with EN versions, slow to respond, if ever. Linhof is in that too.
