Bergger Pancro 400 is made by InovisCoat for Bergger. And InovisCoat / FilmoTec is still in insolvency, and also struggles with regular production of their current own products (like NC 500, NP100).

Best regards,
Henning

For anybody thats interested & lives in/near Dallas, Texas, Don's Used Photo is going to be getting a shipment of Pancro 400 (35mm & 120) soon. They post updates on their Twitter

I had commented that "if they were still making Pancro 400 in sheet sizes (4x5 & 8x10), & he said that he "has both of those coming in this order as well. I just need to pay, which I will do Tuesday morning and it will be shipped from Europe then just wait".

Blue Moon Camera in PDX has 64 rolls of Pancro 400 in 120 available at this time.

Thanks! Ordered some rolls. A little disheartening when the shipping comes out to be more than the merchandise 🙄 Oh well... this will keep me going until I can get my hands on sheet film version...

Andrew what is it that you appreciate about that emulsion?
I used the 200 quite a bit, back when i had my 4"x10"

Silver bromide and iodide emulsions, with the latter responding better to stand/semi-stand. It also has slightly more red sensitivity than my standard HP5.

Got an email from B&H, and they said that 4x5 isn't in their inventory anymore, but 8x10 is...but on back order. Not sure if I want to part with 270 Loonies, though. At least shipping will be free 😁

Pancro 400 in 8x10 has been "on back order" at B&H since before the pandemic. I'm highly skeptical that it's going to reappear anytime soon. (and I bet the price will be adjusted significantly if it does)

I used it a lot five years ago and liked it a lot. But I've emailed Bergger repeatedly over the past 3 years to ask specifically about availability of the sheet film sizes and all I received was a stony silence. So, I doubt I will buy it again if it does - by some miracle - reappear because I don't want to become reliant on a product that has a track record of vanishing for 4 years at a time. Yeah, I'm kinda sour on Bergger now because of this.
