Bergger CLF additive

Bergger produce an additive which will whiten their Prestige Fine Art paper by adding a few ml to the dev or fix.

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative or if this will work on other warm tone papers?

Thought I might give this a bump. I was hoping that some learned folk would have some clues as to what this whitening agent composes of and any possible alternatives?
