I bought a Gitzo PL5 tripod head so I don't need this anymore.

This head works but there is one small hiccup with it. You have to assist the locking lever. I've never had a problem with it nor questioned it's sturdiness. Works great and is pretty lightweight. I'll list the specs taken from BHPhoto below.

Usually you would just drop the quick release plate in and it would lock the plate down. Instead of it spring locking now you have to grab the lever (see photo where my thumb is) and assist it closed. Unless someone can clean the lever action so it snaps back on its own I've just left it as is because it still works.

If that was confusing let me know.

Ahh gotcha, that sounds fine to me as long as it locks tight. Need a pan head for my 4x5 rail camera.

I'm interested in the head, would you ship to Toronto, Canada? Let me know how much shipping is.

Free Bump--I have one of these mated to an Induro AT313 leg set, handles my 11x14 easily.

$40 shipped (shipping costs $10 with all the material so I don't want to go much lower than that right now)
