Just a practical question for those who use this method:
As it is now, I am exposing the paper during 17,4 seconds at f11 and grade 2 ½ (white light), on Ilford MG IV. I get a barely discernable difference between the sprocket holes and the filmbase.
Regarding the contact sheet - should there be no visible difference between the sprocket holes and the filmbase, ie should everything be all black? Ive read and re-read the paper but I am not sure how it should look.
