Was it on this forum that someone said they were testing the Peter Hogan formulas
offered at that website? Also I noticed that "elements of Transition" will be offered, in the future, on CD. Ironic and prophetic don't you think?

Peter Hogan is a member of apug, and posted here about it about a week ago.

I remember somebody saying they were testing Prescysol in preparation for an article
they were working on.

Did Les say he was going to test a pyro type dev, which sounded similar to Exactol?Dixactol?

Tom

Yes I've done the test and compared Prescysol, with Pyro and Rodinal using Pan F Plus. Sorry I can't give the verdict until Ailsa has published it but I can say the results were very interesting.

Thanks guys, in fact it was les McLean who was testing Presysol for me. I do believe he has completed those tests, and I will leave it up to him to publish the results......

Sorry, I didn't notice that Peter had already mentioned that Barry's chemicals would be available from him - I still can't find the post, but that's just my incompetence. The reason I mentioned it, knowing that Peter is a contributor here, was simply that the news sounds better coming from someone with no commercial interest.

Best,
Helen

I haven't seen any news of this in APUG, but Peter appears to have started to sell DiXactol Ultra, Exactol Lux, DiLuxol Vitesse and TechXactol from the shop on his website.

Just passing on something I saw on the web. I have no inside knowledge, no affiliation with Peter Hogan and no affection for marketing bumf.

Best,
Helen

I'm a bit behind the times on this one. What issue of B&W is your article scheduled for.

FYI- Just recieved an e-mail from Peter Hogan verifying that he now sells the Thornton chemistry and book (Elements of Transitition") through his website. He also plans to sell Maco films and papers along with Oriental papers in the future.

On a relate note- at the website, I noticed they are offering "Alkali-stop"( the first commerically available alkaline stopbath). Any information or experience with this product out there?

Good day all,

I've been starting to experiment with Pyro.

I'd like to see what the results were with this developer.

I'm not familiar with the publication that Les mentioned - so my question
is - where will we find his results ( here, other website, other publication, whatever).

Thanks,
Terry
